Welcome to Kindergarten! I am Miss Nowicki. This is my sixth year being a part of the Niagara Charter School community. I am not originally from Western New York, but I came here in 2003 to pursue an education degree. I ended up loving the area so much that I decided to stay! When I am not teaching, I enjoy traveling, cooking, and spending time with my cat, Olive!
Kindergarten is an exciting time! Your child will be making new friends, learning more about who they are as individuals, and having fun! By June, all students will end the school year as readers! In order to get to that point, students will be identifying letters and their sounds, building short words, and learning snap words to increase their reading abilities.
