Ms. Smith
Welcome to 4th Grade!
I am Ms. Smith. I teach English Language Arts/Reading for Crew 115 & 114. This is my second year at Niagara Charter School. I graduated from Buffalo State College in 2018 with my Bachelor’s Degree and in 2020 with my Master’s Degree. I am living my dream everyday that I get to teach your child. When I am not teaching, I love spending time with my family, practicing yoga, relaxing with my cat, Oliver and looking for new opportunities to grow as a teacher.
4th grade participates in many unique learning experiences for your child. We explore three Expedition Modules: Poetry and Inspiration, Animal Defense Mechanisms, and Colonial America. Our writing program focuses on building strong writers by allowing students to write about things they love! We learn how to write Personal Narratives, Informational books, and Opinion stories.
My goal this school year is to create a classroom community where students feel safe and valued. I hope to help each student achieve their personal best this year!
